After the Velvet First Floor's album (# 12) last year, the label from Brest recurrences, this time in association with the German label Taping Desk-o-Phon Mania. It's between Brest and Stuttgart a beautiful story of male friendship and shared recipes that has arisen since the meeting between Tank and Ma Cherie For Painting. The Franco-German friendship compromised by the unfortunate incident Schumacher / Battiston in Sevilla 1982 is finally resumed in colors.

Niko Lazarakopoulos, Greek citizen based in Stuttgart is a familiar place: third pensant from Ma Cherie For Painting, he's also the one behind the Velvet First Floor. Drummer with a remarkable subtlety, ingenious guitarist, he has found in MILEVA perfect complementarity with Daniel Vujanic whose bass lines and piano arrangements are a completely different altitude to pieces. By working together both on the elements of rhythmic and melodic structure, they can create through this collaboration some songs that surprise by their cohesion.

"Stories Survive Sequels" first duo album, is both clear and demanding, very affordable but never simple. MILEVA achieves the strength to live the same moment a certain melody which clearly born flaming pieces of the structure, but only if it stops for a moment, full of treasures and sound technical niceties.

On several occasions, the album takes us into an universe necessarily close to Ma Cherie For Painting which was discovered by his more personal work that Niko is undoubtedly the driving force. But the universe of MILEVA is also very familiar to the lucky fans of Do Make Say Think or especially the beautiful "Anthems For The Could Bin Pills" by KC Accidental. Is that listening to titles as exciting as "Pink Flamingo", or "Skipper Trails" or "Tisina Coda" reappear these rare moments that you run chills spine discovering a disc.
