"TANK (aka Christophe Mevel) returns with a brand new album, after 4 years of silence. Since 1998, he recorded several records including two albums and a 12” on London-based label EARWORM. Tank –as a band- also played many gigs throughout Europe including tours with Ma Chérie For Painting and 4AD’s Magnetophone and guested for Sonic Boom’s Spectrum, Labradford, Suicide, Wedding Present, Faust and Brigitte Fontaine.

TANK’s 5th album is a manifesto against apathy, pre-formated music: always travelling between robotic obsessive rhythms, space-out textures and experimental sound landscapes, the music of Tank really rocks! Despite the nowadays computer craze, TANK recorded this album using a wide range of 100% analog tape-recorder and instruments that gives a monster sound to his music. All throughout the CD, both Jekyll and Hyde aspects of the music will pop out of the hypnotic melodies. The line-up also includes Niko Lazarakopoulos (Ma Chérie for painting, MILEVA, etc..) and Stéphane Laporte (Active Suspension's DOMOTIC)."
